The hundred of years , many countries around the world have adopted the Montessori method of education, in the US and Canada with over 5,000 schools, about 1,000 schools in India, China has about 1,500 schools, around 1,500 schools in Japan, Korea Korea has about 1800 schools. In Vietnam there are about 16 schools Montessori.
Why is in Viet Nam don’t have a lots of the Montessori school ?
-The funds invested too high : The construction school have to nice, spacious, each classroom must have a set Montessori teaching instruction worth 150 -> 200 million, and each set teaching used for a single class to be effective.
– Montessori Teachers: Vietnam Montessori teachers are not trained at school or any university, but we have the course training from the International Association Montessori, such as MIA associations, AMI, and training costs about US $ 4000 a Montessori teacher .
– Mandatory standards for the Montessori school need to have the Curriculum the standards under the Montessori method of education and the teachers must be have the Montessori Certificate.
Which that reason , we as a people to invest in education, as well as parents of students have decided to invest to building The kindergarten school named Viet – Han is the first Montessori school in Vung Tau City qualified Montessori method.
